The inspiration behind DASH.LUXURY came from chats with my best buddy from college, Tom Deputy of Palatka Florida. Over the years Tom had told stories of massive man who worked in the timber industry – the strongest man he had ever seen. Turns out this man, Al Creamer, bestowed wisdom on those who would listen to his simple yet profound philosophy. He would often say to the young Mr. Deputy – “Tom, protect your dash”…
That’s a beautiful way to think about it. The dash, that small line on a tombstone, indeed represents the entirety of a person’s life journey. It’s a reminder of the finite time we have on this Earth and the importance of making the most of every moment. Each person’s dash is unique, filled with their own experiences, relationships, triumphs, and struggles. It’s a poignant symbol of the richness and complexity of human existence.
